For a moment I forgot my identity.
Got caught up in Monday to Friday 9 to 5 or should I say to 7pm in most cases.
But I'm a writer, I must never forget that.
My ink on paper brings to live creative words.
The absolute truth: I write because it brings me alive. With beautiful words to ruffles people's imagination and capture even the most wrecked soul.
Writing WORDS strings together in my mind a story that triggers different effects in many:
Makes you laugh so hard that funny noises comes from your bum;
Makes you cry, worst part you can't explain why;
Makes you ponder of past time, lost moments, and even the future: what possibilities exist.
Makes you cuddle up, almost leaning on the wrong people from feelings erupted.
The list simply goes on and on and on....
So I must not forget my identity. Who I am. For I am a writer who must not be caught up in the spider Web of 9 to 5 politics.
I am Ibiere Addey, a poet with a Poet's HeartTwist

E.J. Shortall is a homebred resident of London, England.
During her youth, she enjoyed getting lost in the worlds of fictional characters and writing their tales. Sadly, as she grew up and had to adult, life got in the way and making up stories was forgotten. Following a moment of inspiration in 2013, a new fire for literature was reignited. Deciding to put pen to paper to jot down the few words she had, not expecting anything to come from them, she quickly got caught up in her characters and the words started to flow. Those initial few words soon turned into her first full-length novel. With the encouragement of friends and family, Silver Lining was first published in February 2014. Now, several books later, she feels it is safe to say she loves ‘this writing business’ and getting lost in narrating fictional worlds has become her passion.
She writes captivating contemporary romantic fiction that will draw you in and leave you wanting more.
“I’m on one amazing roller coaster ride at the moment and loving every minute of it. I have met so many new and wonderful people, discovered new music gems to integrate into my stories, and learned so many new skills. I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me.”

Ella Medler is a U.K. author, acquisitions editor
and owner of a small publishing company, Paper Gold Publishing. As an author,
she writes fiction in many genres, some after her
own tastes, and some to make her readers happy. Sometimes, those two happen to
coincide. Her books are action-driven, and well-developed characters are her forte.
As an editor, Ella Medler has the tendency to nit-pick on plot
issues while ignoring the type of rule that doesn't allow for a sentence
to be finished in a preposition. If you want to win her over, make sure your
books are action-packed, your characters real, and you bring chocolate. Loves: freedom. Hates: her inner censor.

She writes Regency, Contemporary and a little Paranormal/Sci Fi Romance.

JD Nelson is a Bestselling Author of Fantasy Romance and Adult Paranormal Romance. A transplant from Mobile, Alabama, she gave up Mardi Gras and frequent hurricanes to move to the earthquake capital of the United States, the San Francisco Bay Area. She now lives in Central Valley, California with her amazingly supportive husband and three cats who think they're dogs.
Always short on time, JD has long ago mastered the art of procrastination and was recently crowned Procrastinator of the Year by her editor, which is only slightly better than her being voted Most Likely to Waste Time by Watching Vampire Movies by her readers last year. All jokes aside, JD is a boringly normal person who thinks that coffee pretty much fixes everything ... as long as it's before 6:30AM and the planet Mars is in retrograde. When she's not spending time with her sexy Swedish husband, you can find her writing, reading, or on her commute to her day job where she wrangles paint onto canvas for the entertainment industry.
JD loves to hear from her readers. You can contact her through her website, AuthorJDNelson.com, or on Facebook, where she spends an alarming amount of time chatting to her many Author and reader friends, much to the dismay of her continually neglected manuscripts.
I still live in the small town in Partington in Manchester, UK. I was born at home on January 10th 1968. Now a wife and mother, I live with my husband and 6 children, and a small menagerie of animals, still in the town I was raised and attended school.
I've always loved the underdog, the fighter. But let's face it, we all want to believe in a happily ever after. As a huge fan of books (book nerd is the endearing term, my children use), as I have an immense romance collection (which also includes paranormal romance). If I'm not writing, I've got my head stuck in a good book.
You can't beat reading, watching the plot and characters come to life in your imagination, so much better than television. When I was younger, I tended to re-write books and fairy-tales where I wasn't completely happy with the ending. It confused the hell out of my children once they learned to read as none of the books matched the stories I'd read them growing up.
Until I became ill I had a varied career including Admin, Customer Service, and Teaching unemployed adults IT and customer service skills. I'm now at home full time, classed as disabled (neuro fog can make life, and writing fun and challenging at times). So instead of twiddling my thumbs and feeling sorry for myself I decided it was time I started to do something I love with my life. So I began to write my own stories again, it keeps my mind active and it's fun. I'm happy to receive feedback about my books (stories) either on:-
I’m J J Harper or Jess to my friends and family. I have a love for hot steamy love stories and write m/m and m/f romances.
I'm a slighty crazy book fiend with an addiction to Kindle and the one-click button!
I live in the UK in the quiet Lincolnshire countryside along with my husband and my dog, it’s a peaceful existence which balances out all the crazy that goes on in my head. What would the neighbours think of me???

KA Hobbs lives with her husband in Essex. When she isn’t lost in a book or creating one, she loves to cook, swim, colour and shop. Her happiest times are always when she’s surrounded by family and friends or watching Cinderella, which some might say she is a little obsessed with. She loves the Tudors and would love to go back to that period in time.
One day, while watching TV, a scene came to her, completely out of the blue. She could see the scene unfolding, could picture the characters so clearly. She couldn't get to her laptop quick enough and spent hours writing not only that scene, but lots of others too.
She will happily admit to being grumpy when she doesn’t get to write, she loves her characters and spending time listening to what they have to say.

Award winning K. L. Shandwick lived on the outskirts of London for many years before vacating to the Yorkshire countyside. She started writing after a challenge by a friend when she commented on a book she read. The result of this was “The Everything Trilogy.” Her background has been mainly in the health and social care sector in the U.K. These days her writing has become full-time venture to feed her readers demands. Her books tend to focus on the relationships of the main characters. Writing is a form of escapism for her and she is just as excited to find out where her characters take her as she is when she reads another author’s work.
Laura Morgan/L.C Morgan
"I'm a hopeless romantic with a dark side. Be warned, I may give my characters their Happily Ever After, but I make them work hard for it!"
Laura is a self-confessed computer and gadget geek. She’s always had a wild imagination and a sense of creativity that often runs away with her, engrossing her for days in many a story that haunts her thoughts until it eventually makes it to the page. An avid rock music fan, Laura spends much of her free time listening to music at home or going to concerts with friends, and this love of music often makes its way into her creative writing. Laura loves edgy, gritty books that strip your heart and soul bare and leave you with an epic book hangover at the end. That’s what she aims to do with her stories and thinks her readers agree! At times they’re dark and controversial, but that’s also what makes them unique.
Laura also has a YA science fiction series written under the pen name LC Morgans. It’s a story set a thousand years in the future, in which humans have used and abused the planet beyond repair to both the earth itself and to society. Close to cataclysm, an alien race called the Thrakorian's step in to save the planet, and the humans, but at a price. The human race is then enslaved to their new masters, albeit willingly, and this is the story of a young girl and her journey into adulthood beneath their reign.
Laura loves hearing from her fans and you can connect with

Lindsey is a born and bred Wolverhampton lass, living with her Bedlington Terrier, Huxley. While she loves to read and write, she also likes to shop for expensive luxuries she likely doesn't need, with money she definitely does not have! In order to fund her addiction, she works full time in the Construction Recruitment industry. When she isn't indulging in a spot of retail therapy, she can be found glued to some form of computer playing one 'shoot 'em up' game or another! She also likes painting, photography, interior design and psychology. She isn't a complete hermit, though. She also loves to spend time with her family, friends and loved ones doing any number of socially acceptable (most of the time) things. She is a huge fan of paranormal, thrillers and erotic fiction. And if all three are combined, she is in heaven. Especially when it comes to Alpha males!!!

As an International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!
I love to hear from readers, so please email me!
Growing up, Melody Winter showed a natural ability in art, a head for maths, and a tendency to write far too long English essays. Difficult to place in the world when she graduated, she pursued a career in teaching, but eventually ended up working in Finance. Melody is convinced the methodical time she spends working with numbers fuels her desire to drift into dream worlds and write about the illusory characters in her head.
Melody Winter lives in North Yorkshire, England, with her
husband and two sons. When not dealing with football, rugby, and a whole plethora
of ‘boy’ activities, she will be found scribbling notes for her stories, or
preparing for another trip to the beach. With an obsession for anything
mythical, Melody revels in reading and writing about such creatures.
I live with my husband, two dogs and mother-in-law in Cheshire and am an auntie to 16 nephews & nieces, who I absolutely adore. Apart from writing, I also work part-time for a software company that does ticketing software, predominantly in sport. I have a few different groups of friends, but am blessed that they are all bloody wonderful people who I’d be lost without.
I never actually thought I was going to become a writer, always thinking it was a pipe dream that started when I was around 7 or 8 when I wrote my first story for a project at school. It was about two rival gangs of children and it took up practically all of my work book because I included pictures too. I remember my teacher smiling and saying ‘it’s very good Nicola, but perhaps a little too long.’ Not a lesson that stuck with me because I still tend to write ten words when three will do – thank God for my editor. Now though, the main reason I write is because I’m a romantic and love a happy ending, so the best way to ensure that they exist is to write one.
I’m currently writing my 9th book, which fills me
with awe when I say it; I knew I had one
book in me, but never nine! Book 7 is a
novella in my Rock Stars Don’t Like…series due out in December, followed by my favourite to date, another romantic
comedy featuring an Alpha Male and his feisty PA.
